Term	Meaning
Admin	This management system, the private area where you run the business and website. Also the name of the highest team access level.
Alt text / image description	A one-line description of an image, read aloud by screen readers and used by search engines.
Archive	Retiring a record (like a customer account) without deleting it. The history stays.
Client	A customer, meaning someone who books and pays for services.
Disable	A switch that hides an item (service, option, category) from customers without deleting it. The reversible alternative to deleting.
Draft	A saved change that customers cannot see yet. Becomes visible when you publish.
Favicon	The small icon shown in the browser tab next to your site's name.
Home service	A service performed at the customer's address, within a store's service area.
Live / published	Visible to customers right now.
Locale / language	A language version of the website's content.
Margin duration	Hidden buffer minutes before or after an appointment, for setup, travel, or cleanup.
Operations	The read-only dashboard showing today's work, incoming orders, and staff workload.
Order status	Where a booking is in its life: Requested, Scheduled, In progress, then Completed (or Canceled / Failed).
Preview	Viewing a change exactly as customers will see it, before publishing.
Publish	Making a draft live. Customers see it immediately.
Search preview	The title and description search engines and social shares display for a page.
Sender name	The "from" name customers see in their inbox on your emails.
Service area / radius	How far from a branch home service reaches, in kilometers.
Service mode	Whether a service happens in-store or at the customer's home.
Slug	The web address of a page or service, meaning the part after your domain, like `/services/wash-and-fold`. Changing it breaks old links.
Staff	A worker who performs services and appears on schedules.
Store	A branch: its address, hours, staff, and service area.
User	A team member's account for signing in to this admin.
Variant	A concrete option of a service that customers pick and pay for, with its own price, duration, and requirements.
Version history	Previous saved versions of content, kept so you can restore one if a change goes wrong.
